Even though at this time it's for a hamster, I am sure you can make good use of the rat besides fodder!!!!

That or I can give Rocky's rats a good ol' workout before I gotta whack 'em! (Assuming he doesn't switch to frozen anytime soon)
Bad thing is paper for bedding sucks for rodents. I had to keep Isis on crumpled and shredded printer paper...and boy did it smell horrible. Also...try sleeping with a rat rustling through paper....I had no problem with it....but others might.
