I just realized how exciting it must have been to build that center piece. I just recieved an Animal Plastics 7 tier 2221 rubbermaid rack for free from a close friend who no longer needs it. Although I didn't build it myself, it amazes me how something so simple could be so very exciting. (or perhaps I live a mundane existence). If I built it, I'd be even more excited, but to set it up and conserve more space and make room for more animals, if my addiction dictates, is like a happy PILL!!

Yeah, now take the level of excitement and multiply it by 10. Even better when you design and hand craft it yourself. Funny thing was I took woodshop in high school. was fun, made a few things and pretty much never looked back. Got back into woodworking with building cages. Since then I've come a long ways. I've even designed and built my own kitchen cabinets. Very nice top quality stuff. Better than any I've seen for quality of work. Just can't get that from a shop, too expensive. You'll not be able to find a single nail hole in any visible surface. Not because I'm good at concealing, but, because I designed around alternative fastners for those locations. Mostly buiscuit or pocket hole screws.

It's very rewarding to think up a design and work it into a beautiful piece.

did you catch that comment from the guy with the magma's? He has a couple of females at 22 months and over 6 ft.!!! Is that power -feeding at it's best or do you think that they will pass away from the excessive growth later on at about the age of 5 or 6? I know it's just an opinion and this is your first year breeding bci but I value your opinion. I have a bci for 2 years now and he or she is about 3 ft. or so.

Did not see that comment, been in the snake rooms taking pics. 6' at 22 months does seem a bit excessive although I don't measure them by length, too difficult and why when you can simply weigh them to see growth. I have 4 1/2 year olds that are that approximate size.
