What a great Forum

tsusnakeguy Apr 14, 2007 01:28 PM

Ok I have a couple of things I just want to say.

I know like myself many people in here own different species and genera of reptiles and therefore they look through the many forums on kingsnake. Well I just want to say I love all of my boa forum people.

I have looked around some other forums and a lot of other forums have "experts" in them that would rather tell someone what they are doing wrong than help them fix a problem. Or some of these "experts" would rather tell that person how wrong they are for what they do or how they keep their animals just because it is not the same way they do it.

This forum is different, when someone comes here with a question or a new snake, the replies are always "Congrats" or "I hope we can help you." I just wanted to say I appreciate that everyone here understands what these forums are for. They are for people to share their passion with others and to help those that need help. I have noticed this in the boa forums and the cornsnake forums. Unfortunetly I do not look through all the forums but I do know these forums are full of good people.

I agree! This forum is on my personal favorites list. I visit several others, but only two out of those are as nice as this forum. Sure makes it fun to come back!

This forum is the best and we take pride in that where opinions are welcome and NICE responses are to sure to be followed. We may have experts on this forum like Jeff and Mike who have been breeding these amazing creatures long before anyone else but they make humble comments and I can't forget about Dave who may one of the nicest guys out there and they all love SNAKES not just the brb's so people like this make this forum go along way.

For instance since boas lay eggs lol and that comment received more negative attention cuz people have nothing better to do than to blatantly correct others so we just leave that up to the other forum over there. So we welcome you with open arms

O I have been on this forum for a while, I just don't post a lot hahaha. But I know that people like Jeff and all the others are great and it is one of my favorite parts of the day to come and see what they and others have posted.

posted check out that guy Frank, don't read to many of 'em cuz he may rub off on ya. I believe I may have caught a couple of posts you had but like you said not to many over the past six months maybe 2 that I remember before today. So in order to fix that you should post more often but I still want that membership money if u don't mind

yeah, this forum is great. I tried listening in on other forums and asking a few questions(what's wrong with curiosity?) and some are nice but one(i wont say which one, but i will say that like pet like owner) practially bit my head off every time i asked a question. What's wrong with admiring a snake's beauty it doesn't mean i am going to get one, i know they are illegal! I just want to learn about them because their beauty amazes me. But no! I ask people to post pics of their atheris and they get all pissed! the only time they were ever nice to me was when i was researching how the medical community is starting to use venom to prevent strokes and things for a project. sorry i had to vent that.

Yeah some folks are a little uptight, besides a lot of people on that Venomous Forum are keeping hots illegally anyway, so they should talk about you who has a legit interest in them, they are beautiful creatures and worth looking at. I often go to the Venomous classifieds to check out the animals I cannot have and also I do no believe in keeping venomous animals in the private sector any way. The very special setups and rooms they require in my opinion are not found in the home, well unless you have an escape proof lab, and I mean escape proof, not something found in the typical home environment. Below is a link you may have checked out already, If not it's worth a look.
