i was wanting to know if 6 foot is big for a bullsnake and how big can they get? also how often should i feed him? also i heard that bullsnakes can kill rattlesnakes, is this true?

bullsnakes,(Pituophis catenifer sayi) have an adult length ranging from 1 to 3 meters depending on age, conditions and genetic propensity related to local variations. I have seen small adults from high elevation locality to very large individuals from texas grassland habitats.
You will not be able to acurately age your snake based on size as that is more related to feeding, locality, etc. and growths slows as the animals mature.
feed him or her small/med sized meals of pre-killed rodents weekly and adjust feeding to avoid making your snake overweight.
Provide a natural daily and annual fluctuation in temperatures with a thermal gradient in the form of a heat pad or tape allowing the snake to adjust its own body temp.
