if my bullsnake is 6 foot then how old does that make it? any way of knowing? also how long do bullsnakes live?

I spaced your other two questions....

I have not heard of any reliable accounts of pituophis killing rattlesnake and it seems unlikely as they feed primarily on rodents and occasionally birds. i have heard of great basin gophers (P.c. deserticola) feeding on lizards so maybe this ssp. might feed on other snakes but it is not well documented. It is a helpfull rumor in that some folks might avoid killing them if it is believed that they kill rattlesnakes so long live good press and misinformation.

I have captive 14 year old bulls and I suspect they may live as long as 20+ years in captivity. however in todays crowded world the chances of a big bull snake avoiding getting killed by a car for 20 years seems like a long shot......unfortunetly.
