I was wondering if anyone can tell if this female het pied of mine is considered a granite? She is 780 grams in this picture, taken today.
thanks
Steve
doesnt look like a granite trait to me at all. the granite has more flecking in the sides and cleaner looking flames you have a very nice het for pied though.
Oh well, I was hoping to be a little lucky. I wasn't sure of all those black spots all over the alien areas. She also has some cool blushing on her head too. Thanks for the response.
Steve
no problem also for it to be a granite the neck stripe has to be broken up some how

I don't think a super has been produced yet but hopefully this year, and hopefully it's something like Ralph's "neo" Or the "Uber" that VPI has.

i have a granite female which can be seen @ www.myspace.com/monty_the_python
she is a beauty too and a sweetheart loves being held and i am currently talking to a guy who has a male and wants to get rid of him for near nothing so im gonna take him and in 2 years ill be ready for a project since the female i have is 1 year old and the male im getting is only a baby. so i hope to be breeding them together and proving her out since she was a wc and the people i got her from thought she was a he and a normal but i took "him" to a vet and got "him" probed and found out he was a she and is a granite lucky me only payed 60 bucks for her and the person missed out on a great find!!! hopefully she proves out
I was told by a Large Breeder from PA. that you will Get 50-75% Granites and 25- 50 % normal’s and there is a chance that you may have 25% Ivory’s . Thanks David of DS Reptile Rescue
