At it again!

So to my knowledge they still haven't locked up. But at least they are trying now! I snapped some quick pics. Do you think she is too big for them to ever succesfully lock up? The pics aren't great but I wanted to be less intrusive. In one pic I think you can almost see a hemipene but even if it was it was only out for a few seconds.

A couple of years ago I bred an 18 month old Ghost cal king male to an older, larger Mendota female. Although the female Mendota was twice the size as the Ghost male....they still bred successfully....producing double hets.

If she is willing, and he is able, here is a scene from last year. Young 2yr old male, bit her on the tail and held on. She produced 15 fertile eggs.

It's actually funny that you say that. He was biting her also but she didn't like it and just "shook" him off.
