Guess this guy got a little close when feeding! ouch! Jim

yeah that's a FT mouse in his hand...he should have gotten some 18" hemostats.
Actually in case someone didnt know he was attempting to inject that croc thinking it was anesthesized. It wasnt. They were able to reattach the arm. Now that is amazing.
Tom
Snazzy new site, huh? Remember, duct tape fixes everything. Including reattaching arms.
Are you saying that is a real pic?
yeah it's real.

Thanks for the link! Wow, too crazy! Hey, I better be careful
with this boy! hahahahaha

wow NICE Mike. Isnt it amazing the power of their jaws? I have a little 20" yacare / spectacled cross and GOOD GOD.
Tom
Yeah, super jaw power! The only animal to ever have a stronger jaw than a full grown alligator or croc was T-Rex, or so I've read. Those crosses were 'marketed' as being really tame. Do you notice anything 'different' about it?
actually YES! I mean it is still insane during feeding time, but once he is out he doesnt attempt to bite...very odd. I will secure his jaws and normally with crocodilians they still lash out at you, jerking their head at whatever they can. This guy doesnt. Of course I dont experiment with his jaws unsecured hahah, them there teeth are huge for his size!
Tom
I believe the Hyena has the strongest bite. Not crocs. Cheers
nah...pretty sure the strongest bite by any living vertebrate is croc...95% on this one
hyena can crush elephant bones, I dont think a croc can
Mike nil crocs never forgets (be nice to him)
I know many stories about captive nils, one in particular (OSCAR)tryed to attack Burt Renolds when he was fimlming with Dom De Louise and Sherif pepers in west Palm Beach.
The gator crossing the road was called (Elvis)and was treated like a star with his own private enclosure and pond.
anyway this nil hatted Francine (owners wife)and whould always try to get her, even 7 years after being sold to st-Augustin, they never forget.
I love those nils, not my favorit but close!
Yeah, this guy is mostly 'hands off'
