Reptile shows are addicting

run26neys Apr 16, 2007 04:26 PM

Yesterday was the family's second time to a reptile show. From the first show we went to, we came home with a Cal King, my brb, and feeder mice.

This show - I was interested in the Bredel Pythons, as there were a few clutches of babies. I then thought rationaly and decided not to buy, since I would have to buy everything to house them.

My wife nearly bought a gree tree snake. When I asked python or boa she replied I don't know it was a green tree snake. She then decided to have me do some research on them.

My 5 and 1/2 year old step-daughter loved seeing the snakes, and was trying to show everyone a picture of her Cal King. She did not like the Anaconda's with the reason being that they could eat her (despite they were very small babies.)

My 20 month old daughter absolutely loved the feeder animals, which could be good thing if we keep on buying snakes.

In the end I had my snakes sexed and bought one pack of feeder animals. I am looking at cages, and will probably order soon. I am already going to order 4 extra cages, as I would like to pick up 1.1 BRB, and 0.1 Spotted Python - and an extra just in case.

My Spotted Python is male
My BRB is female
