Gravid Females and my Star Pairing

RyanHomsey Apr 16, 2007 08:40 PM

This first female is a 2003 Albino Het Stripe that I got from Peter Kahl. She was bred by my favorite boa in my collection, a really contrasty male sunglow possible het stripe. She is at day 110 POS... biting my nails off over here!!!

Take a guess at what she will throw if you like, number of boas and sunglow/albino ratio. She is a bigger boa than my EBV who produced 30 on 3-21 and is also fatter. I'm going to stay conservative and guess 13 sunglows and 16 albinos.

The next girl is a 2002 Arabesque Het Albino Het Stripe, also from PK. She was bred by a male albino possible het stripe of mine who is a really intense yellow with very odd shaped scales... he also has a bit of striping on his tail... I really hope he proves to be a het stripe. She is also at day 110 POS.

Next up is my 2005 Male Motley Het Albino Possible Het Stripe. He is getting some size to him now, definitely ready to breed. He hasnt faded out a whole lot like I see in alot of motleys. He is also pulling up lots of random peachy color splotches that I wasnt able to get a decent shot of in this session.

Last but not least is my 2004 Coral Sunglow Female. She weighed in at a whopping 14.5 pounds a few weeks ago. I would guess she is around 6.5 feet long. She hasnt been pushed at all either, just a geneticly big girl. She will be more than ready to breed early next season. Pics were taken outside in sunlight only, white balance calibrated.

Thanks for looking!

That albino looks like she is over eight feet long. Good luck on striped sunglows. Speaking of sunglows, your coral sunglow is awesome. Her size and color are very impressive. Coral motley sunglows???

It's not every day most of us get to see an adult sunglow. Thanks for the great photos and goog luck!!!

Ryan, the 04 Sunglow Female is a very nice. If you don't mind me asking what blood line is she, and who did you acquire her from? Well it looks as if you are going to have a very productive year best of luck.

by Mark Miller of locolizards from a hypo het albino to an albino. The hypo was a rather subpar hypo, nothing special going on. The albino was rather normal as well, except it had some red in its head and had slight red highlights. I know he got the albino from Jeff Ronne but It didnt have any of his pastel blood in it. The litter was incredible though.

Thanks again.
