hi i just resently caught 5 western pond turtles and 1 red ear slider(which i dont think is actually someones local turtle that escaped to the creek). they are all good sized, and the pond turtles are mating almost every time i turn around. i made a terrapin in a corner of my backyard, and they LOOVVE it. The first thing i did after the terrapin was up was to go buy 5 goldfish, little longer than the width of the turtles' heads. none of the turtles even LOOKED at the goldfishes, and the fish all died. i stuck some apples, bannanas, tomatoes, bread, everything except lettuce because i heard it was bad for them. i havent seen them eat at all. what am i doing wrong? i even tried to find them some mustard flowers, which i heard they love, but nope, no luck. i just bought some turtle pellets tonight, ill see if they eat that. the only other thing i havnt tried is some aquatic plants at petco. what should i do? i know some of the living things in the creek are:
crawdads
dragonfly larvae
little fish, smaller than gold fish, not sure what kind
bluegills
some other insects

thanks for your help, if nessicary, i can post pictures of the turtles.
