bed a beast is great. its cheaper than bark too. what i recomend is mixing it with bark for anoles. at least thats what i do and i know several others who do. good luck. it smells kinda weird at first tho(when u first make it wet) but it will go away.

u no, i never thought of that.... but ive been using it for quite a while and i have never had it mold. i cant imagine what keeps it from getting moldy but it doesnt. btw, i think the stuff i usually use is called eco earth or something. i tried bed a beast onece and didnt notice a difference though, so i guess it doesnt matter. but i know that you can get eco earth in packs of three for really cheap, go to thatpet place . com for the cheapest that ive found.

Bought some at Petco yesterday b/c I couldn't wait to order but in the future I will go to reptiledirect as it is only 1.99/block (PetCo was $4.99!) They ahve really good prices on other stuff, too.

You don't have to keep it very humid at all. You can squeeze most of the water out and it will dry pretty quick, although you'll probably want some moisture.
I love the stuff and have found that it only molds if there is decaying material such as food (like for crickets) or dead leaves from live plants in very humid tanks.
