I am attending a reptile expo on sunday and want to buy my first uro there. What are reasonable price ranges for a mali or ornate male? young adult to adult.

Does captive or WC make a difference in price?

id rather captive of coarse.

Mali's should be somewhere in the neighborhood of $50-60 , Ornates vary greatly in price, I've seen anywhere from $150 to $350, WC will usually be less expensive and for good reason, they're usually imported by the hundreds, parasite ridden, and kept in horrible conditions. If you're near Houston by any chance I know someone who's got 3 CB six month old Mali's for sale for $50 a piece. I might buy two of them this week if I can figure out exactly how mad my wife would be.

lol unfortunately Im in new york. Was torn between a bearded and a uro. Leaning towards a uro at this point. I love their look, melts my heart lol.

Beardies i hear are more fun but i live in NYC and i can find all veggies fresh everywhere so a varied diet for them i feel will be easier then running around with different insects for a bearded.

I'll be working as a vendor with Slither and Swim. If you would like, I would be happy to point you in the direction of some good breeders and Caution you against some bad ones . You should enjoy the show, theres going to be alot of breeders to choose from !
