If HB 2414 passes, we could all canvas West and South Texas roads. We could drive around until we find a herp in need of protection from traffic. Since it would be illegal to move the herp, we could place flashing warning barricades around it. Or, we could dress up in reflective orange vests and stop/slow signs to re-direct the traffic. We could also post temporary signs in our patrol areas stating, "Warning, Wildlife Protection Workers Ahead". Maybe even get some news coverage and explain that we are protecting Texas wildlife by stopping traffic, since the law wont let us move the animals.
