I've got a gravid Gambelia W. W.

I know this is a chuck forum, but was wondering if I could get some info from you. I need to know what temp to keep the eggs when they arrive. Should I give the female any type of diet supplement while she is gravid? And if you have any other info which is useful, I'd like to know.
I was able to have about five eggs hatch about three years ago, but I've lost all my notes when I moved to Tennessee.
Thanks Doug Stewart

O.K. Lets not be chuck snobs!! I would imagine that some of you have more than just chucks.
I think that she's about two weeks gravid, and I'd like to be prepared when she lays the eggs. I've found a supplier for an incubator, but they were out of stock until the first of next week.
If I could get any asistance I'd greatly appreciate it.

We're not chuck snobs, you were right in asking here, as we talk about all our deserty lizards here, and yes, many of us have several species.

I myself do not have any leopards, but I do breed collareds and would have to say I would incubate those leopard eggs pretty much the same temp in the mid 80's I usually incubate about 84 degrees.
Plastic container /with lid and small (nickel sized hole) in top of lid, in dampened vermiculite, then placed in hovabator. With collareds the rule is don't let the temps go below low 70's or above 90, so we stay in the 84ish degree range.

I would also give that girl plenty of dusted bugs (calcium) right now, and after as they get depleted.

Sure wishing you the best, let us know how she makes out. Maybe someone else who breeds these guys will jump in.

Been rather SLOW here, hopefully it will pick up a bit, Happy Herping

Thanks for the advice. I'll be dusting with a calcium supplement, and keeping her warm. I'll be posting updates too.
Thanks Doug S.
