Quick Question...

SlipKorn Aug 13, 2003 10:44 PM

My female corn is ready to shed. It had blue eyes about 5 days ago and they have been clear for 3 days. I've never had a snake that went that long with clear eyes without shedding. I've misted her 3 times but she still won't do it. I know she'll do it in time but I was wondering if I could go ahead and feed her? She wants to eat but I've always waited til after they shed their skin when I spotted the blue eyes. Don't get me wrong I've had snakes for about 15 years but I've only had this on for about 3 weeks. Thanks.

I have never had a problem feeding corns during shed. As long as they want to eat i feed them. Some just take longer to shed than others too, Good Luck
