Houston we have a problem

OK so Yoshi is in her lay box digging a tunnel, I have no worries about her, she can be left in peace considering she is naturally a very skittish girl. I just hope all goes well this time...... fingers crossed for her I hope she is going to do well, after the reabsorption twice already this year.

My worry is with Elvis, she is less than 4 weeks since her last clutch, yet has a lumpy tummy and is digging furiously. She gained weight nicely since the last time so no worries there, the thing is Maggie and Arthur are sleeping in the lay box whilst she digs around them. I have removed them....twice. I'd hate to think they are stressing her, or would trample her eggs, but removing them is going to upset her all the same, a rock and a hard place, which to choose? I dont have a spare viv to put her or the other two in whilst she lays, I could put her (and her box) in the viv next door with Yoshi and Yoda, but I dont want to upset her by doing that either. Any thoughts?

Get a tube of oragel...just kidding.

Seriously...what I have done before is get a flower pot and simply cover her up with it. If you are certain she is ready to lay, sometimes they will just stay in there and dig and lay. I have done it and it worked. I had a female that could not decide what she was doing. I placed a flower pot upside down over her and left her there for a day...checking on her of course. She laid there and with intrustions.

I am not going to even ask what oragel is, lmao.

She has changed her mind this morning and has abandoned the lay box for now. Keep an eye on her, but thanks, I work in a Barn so I picked up a big plant pot this morning, lol.
