RI in Red Tail

Hi - I have a Guyan Red Tail with a recurrent respiratory infection. I've moved from N.Carolina recently and have not got access to my old vet. Can anyone recommend a treatment regimen that I can use without prescription to keep her in decent shape until I can get back to my old vet, or find a good one here in upstate New York ? Any recommendations on vets here would be great too.

I don't know where in upstate New York you are, but if you are within a reasonable distance to Ithaca the vet school here at Cornell University is the best in the country and they have an office open to the public.
