Pied Looking Genetic Stripe

prehistoricpets Apr 18, 2007 03:17 PM

Today was a day of hatching. Besides the Albino Tiger X Suntiger Het clutch, we had a Het Stripe X Genetic Stripe clutch hatch out. Out of the Genetic Stripes in the clutch, this particular one had some odd markings, almost like a Pied where it's all normal pattern, and then just white. It has similar markings on either side of the animals. Since we haven't produced too many Genetic Stripes, I was curious if this is something common with them or something that has been seen in other breeders' clutches. Either way, it's a pretty neat looking snake just for the fact that it's a Genetic Stripe!

Sorry if they appear twice, but our site is having issues, which is causing me to have to re-post the pics. So if our site gets fixed soon, then you will see the same pics twice. Sorry for the mess-up, and thanks for looking.

Never seen anything like that before, although I have only seen a handful of genetic striped retic neonates, something is going omn there for sure, but I am more impressed with the snakes eyes to be honest, striking color!!!!

I think that it was 77 or 78 days.
