We had a fruit fly problem in our house. Put a bowl of liquid soap and vinegar in the cage, like a 50/50 mix. They are attracted to it, and when they land they cant get out. The only problem I see with this, is just keeping your lizard from knocking it over. Maybe put it somewhere really high up?
This will work, I promise!!! We were catching 30 a day for like 2 weeks straight!!

they are getting bad.
they are mating on my walls in my room and they will not die off.
no clue what they are eating. (substrate is cocoa mulch, coconut mulch, and dirt.) i think they came from the cocoa mulch. which i will not use again. but if i switch substrates and start over how can i be sure that the leftover adults in my room will not lay eggs in the new substrate.......please help someone.

Easy. I had a fruit fly problem when I was raising Jackson Chameleons. I sucked the fockers up with the vacum cleaner. I got 99.9 % of them the first time and then picked away at the scragglers. It worked.

House geckos. Wonderful little critters.
Everytime I build a cage, I add a few geckos right after the substrate goes in.
Fun watching my rudi "Try" to catch them.
