Texas Wildlife-Association

Does anyone know anything about Texas Wildlife Association? I have it on good authority that they have good lobbyists and they are lobbying against another bill. Like I said before I do not know about the culture of this organization. All this is new to me but I am doing what I can to send letters, e-mail, and phone legislators. We, as business owners in west Texas, have a lot to loose if reptile enthusiasts refrain from coming here. Not to mention the fact that my grandchildren love to come and hunt reptiles with thier grandfather. IT will be a devastating loss for the next generation if we can not pass down to them this heritage.

Ruth,

I've contacted them with a "feeler". I'll let you know what the word back is. They are into promoting hunters rights (we do buy hunting licenses) and into promoting conservation to youth, so there may be a shot.
