As any of you seen cannibalism when introducing a male to a female? If so, is this frequent so that we need to worry when leaving the two of them together?

Although I am new myself to breeding milks, from what I have read if you have fed them well and you don't see any immediate signs of aggression, then everything should be okay.
I feed my pairs seperately and then introduce them 48 hours after feedings. No problems to report yet!
Perhaps a more experienced keeper could give you some better advice!
It happens. I'm pretty sure Terry Dunham had one Hondo eat another. I just had my male snow Hondo get significantly chewed on by an anery female he was suppoosed to be breeding (I think he'll be OK). I've been breeding Hondurns for 15 years, and although it's not terribly common, they will at times attempt to eat one another.

I've had it happen to me (once in ten years) with a rather large female king. Luckly I was keeping a close watch on the pair. Upon seeing what at first appeared to be the pair mating. I took a closer look to see the female actually had the male's entire head in her mouth. I was unable to pull the male out of the female's mouth. The only reason he is still alive today is a bottle of rubing alcohol I had left by the cages for cleaning. I took the rubbing alcohol and poured on/in to the females mouth. You will not believe how fast she spit the male out of her mouth. I now leave a bottle of rubbing alcohol by the cage racks all the time just in case.
i think its possible, but breeding shopuld be supervised
