Calcium Dish

Jipjap Apr 19, 2007 12:46 PM

I have read in this forum that its wise to leave a dish of pure calcium in the Tank so the Leo can take as much as it needs whenever it needs it. Problem is i have tried a couple of pet stores and they have zero. The only ones they have contain D3 and as i already have this in the vitamin powder i dust on my crickets every 2/3 days i dont need this type. Can someone please point me in the direction of where i can purchase the pure calcium. Any websites that sell it? I live in Ireland so the ''go to your local petsmart'' option is not an option

I got mine at www.reptilesupply.com it is rep-cal calcium w 0% D3. It was $5.00 US. I don't know how much shipping would be for you, but that is a website that carries it.

I already have the d3 powder so I just bought some calcium carbonate tablets for people and crush them up for my leos.I use the D3 powder two times a week dusted on the mealies.
