It has taken years to think of a doggie door for snakes. I finally came up with a system that keeps the weather outside and allows the snake to go back and forth. I run a three inch pipe through wall and cage slanted slightly downward on the outside to keep the rain from coming into the cage. I next take a simple foam ball and cut a cross section from the middle looks like a two inch thick pancake. Next I cut an x through the center staying ˝ inch from the edges. Here are two pictures. The foam insulates enough to keep weather out. I do thin the foam in the center of my two inch thick pancake by plucking the foam in the center with my fingers till the thickness is about a quarter of an inch. I do this before cutting the x in the center. If anyone has done indoor outdoor caging I would be curious about your system. This one seems to be working I will keep you posted.
