First eggs of the season!!

Here's a pic of my reverse okeetee on a clutch of 11 eggs.She had 1 (not visible in pic) Slug. Jeff

When a turtle lays eggs, she digs a hole and deposits them (I'm thinking sea turtle). The eggs just land where they do.

Since a snake doesn't do that, what happens? I mean does the snake lay an egg, move foward slightly, lay another egg, move foward a little etc.

I see that some are bunched up. Is it a few are laid, then she might move foward a little, lay some more...
Does this make sense?

congrats on the eggs!!!! Charlotte layed 11 lovely eggs for me... next year i'm going to pair charlotte and hector... and i'll call the offspring charlotte county, va locals she was my first to lay and her eggs are due to hatch around the middle of june. i'll try to keep you updated when i get to a computer!!
