Tgreb, Regarding the Marion Leaf Eater Feed...............

cycluracornuta Aug 14, 2003 12:46 AM

I ordered some of the reptile version and they sent me a leaflet on both reptile and leaf eater foods. Ingredients are very similar, nutrients percentages on dry meal basis are identical except that reptile food is 26 percent protien verses 24 percent for the leaf eater. When mixed with a salad my cornuta don't seem to mind it as much as zigler's, which turns to mush when moistened.

That seems like little difference for the price you pay. I ordered the leafeater which was 25.00 for a 25lb bag. The reptile diet I think Sonia said was 75.00 for a 25lb bag. Let me know how you like it. I guess the stuff is all natural and the shelve life is not that long. The people there were very helpful explaining how best to store the stuff and making sure you would not get morte than you could use in 6 months or so. I was pretty impressed with the them. Thanks again, Tom
