Yay... I got Dallah to eat!

Kicksome123 Apr 19, 2007 10:38 PM

Finally got her to eat again. This time I fed her on a counter instead of a portable cage so I had more control over what she does. I actually held her when she grabbed hold of the f/t hopper rat. I had to piss her off a bit at first before she would strike at it. Danggling it in front of her face and then lightly tapping it on the tip of the head. Finally she coiled up with it and I wiggled the rat around to keep her interested and the rest went really well. I hope I diddnt do anything bad if her part. I think the last feeding was unsucessful because of the shedding cycle had "just started" at the time I was going to feed her and she just got done shedding 3 days ago. Running a little off time compared to everyone elses BRB that they got from Dave but at least shes eating hehe.

Cool, glad to hear she's doing well. Quite often they will eat during shed but not always. She'll do just fine.
