recently a law in illinois went into effect requireing all out of state reptiles (and other exotics) to be certified by a vet to enter the state. i dont know the specifics of the law. anyway, if this is true, wont the new law chase people from out of state away from the chicago narbc show? anyone know the specifics of this silly law? thoughts?

As I understand the law, it only affects USDA licensed breeders/dealers. Also (as I understand it) "hobbyists" are allowed to sell surplus offspring and are not required to be licensed by the USDA.

Everyone else is feel free to expound on these subjects if you have real information and not just third party, "my cousin knows this guy who's sister used to work for the USDA and SHE said... blah blah blah".
