Dear Kingsnake Webmaster...

evercraig190 Apr 20, 2007 10:56 AM

I was looking at the layout of the new website and i cant help but notice the tabs at the top of the page and then a couple of inches down, there are some more tabs... i have one suggestion/idea....

The tabs at the top are for the kingsnake page and then the tabs a little ways down are for the entire pet hobbyist site. I was just thinking that it might make things a little easier if this was reversed. Putting the tabs for the site we are using lower than the ones for the entire pethobbyist sites. I know it was like this before and mayber there is a good reason you changed it...i just keep looking for the different tabs such as classified/forums and then i realize they are at the top...just my two cents...thanks for your time...

I know other people have mentioned this also...its the only thing that really bothers me about the new setup.

Also if you could add:

Spell check for posting.

Advanced search ability for archived posts.

I would totally agree the tabs should be easier to get too.
The spell check would be great also.

As the webmaster for the site doesn't read the ball python forum to my knowledge, I suggest using the 'contact' link above to send all comments about the website... Just choose 'kingsnake.com site coordinator' and your views/suggestions will be seen by the right people.

As for spell checking in the forums...not sure if that can be put in, but then again I am no expert at web design, java or flash. Firefox 2 and later has a built in browser spell checker which works great for me to control spelling...Doesn't work with the kingsnake.com chat rooms though, they are java script based and thus, are not 'read' by the firefox spell checker. For those who want to use Internet Explorer (standard browser with all Windows operating systems (ie Windows XP), Internet Explorer 7 is suppose to have a spell checker in it...but it is so clitchy right now, I don't recommend upgrading to it.
