Are Amazon Tree Boas good for beginners?

I wanted to know if Amazon Tree Boas are a good choice as a pet for a beginner. I have a good knowledge of snake husbandry and I wanted to try keeping tree boas. Any info. on keeping them would be greatly appreciated.
