one of my corns did this the other day with a live fuzzy (I almost never feed live). She started eating it backward and the head was last it was trying to push its way out and was swallowed alive whimpering. frustrating...when it happens all I think is how would I like it? swallowed foot first, head last, and still be alive to know and feel I’m going to die. I always want to take the food away but know I can’t or shouldn’t. Once in a while I’ll have an extra pinky or hopper and feed it to the adults who always pause for a spilt second confused and realize its food and gobble it up live, half the time backward. Constricting live food is all good with me but the whole swallowing alive upsets me a little...
