Gravid Sulfur Mojave pics!

Eric Sandoval Apr 20, 2007 07:28 PM

Was cleaning cages and couldn't help but take a couple pics of this girl. She just went through her prelay shed. The photo quality sucks, I didn't have time to set up the photo booth, but that's a mojave and normal for reference. I'll get some better pics up in a few days.

Thanks for looking,
Eric

Wicked would be an understatement. Forgive me if I've missed something...but was this animal produced from the Sulfur line that I see Emberball Dave posting on here?

Thanks everyone. She was bred to a yellowbelly, I'm still waiting on another sulfer mojave female bred to a sul. moj. male. I'll get a good pic of this girl this weekend her colors are amazing.

Eric - she is beautiful!

Is that her normal coloring or is this a pregnant glow?

Hope you get lots of eggs from her!!!

She's the nicest one I produced in 2005, but she definitely has some of that motherly glow going on.

Not that I ever doubted your Sulfur was actually a morph... the difference in your pics just APPEARED too subtle for me to become excited about.

NOW I'm a believer! Wow! I apologize for any doubts I may have had! They really are quite striking.

EmberBall Apr 21, 2007 09:16 PM

No need for an apology! I can look back now and see that I shot myself in the foot with posting too many of the same pictures, and pictures that were not the greatest quality. I am just happy to see that some of the original doubters are coming around!

Just wait until someone produces a Sulfur Lemon Blast, it should be out of this world. Also, I am looking foreward to a Sulfur and Spider cross.

Not doubting that the Ember lightened up the mojave butttttt

Females almost always appear much lighter while gravid. I have normal females that you would swear are hypos when they are gravid. Super light and washed out.

For a true comparison show pics of that female next to a normal mojave during the offseason.

same sheet lol

wow...i'm definantly staying an e.s.r. customer. one of the most amazing mojave crosses i've ever seen. hands down.

BakerReptiles Apr 22, 2007 10:28 AM

Very Nice looking snake Eric. I'm just curious if you or anyone else has produced a super sulfur and if so is it a black eyed lucy? It looks to me that the sulfurs reasemble the fires and was wondering if they may actually be another line of a co-dom hypo like the fire? Just curious.

No super has been produced. I'm hoping my other 05' Sul. Moj. female takes, she's been bred to a sul. moj. male. As adults they look like a hypo, so yes I'd consider them a codom/dom hypo. I don't think they're quite the same as fires, though I won't be surprised if the super is a white snake.
