Anyone know the CA herp laws?

Greetings all!

I have been looking for a list of animals (mainly reptiles, but mammals and birds too) that are legal to own in the state of CA that are NON native species. All I keep finding are pages talking about native species.

Can anyone point me with a link to this information?

Also, does anyone know if you have to obtain a permit/license to breed and sell your own reptiles if you are not a store front?
Or do I need to register as an official business and then get a business license?

I don't know about the rest of the state, but I know you can't have a constrictor in San Franscisco.
