I kind of figured by the time you were done you would be talking to your self.
what i meant was... does anyone know of a program i can join thats does this?
Start here http://www.fws.gov/endangered/i/c/sac1q.html. There is a phone number at the bottom you can call. I'm guessing this would be a good place to start to see if they can use additonal cbb animals for reintroduction programs.

Reintroduction plans for this species have been few, and VERY carefully controlled. Further, results have been dismal as far as I've been able to ascertain. The main problem seems to be that there isn't much or any suitable habitat to reintroduce the snakes to (that doesn't already have viable populations). In one instance, multiple releases of cb individuals into apparently suitable habitat apparently totally failed to establish a population, and all animals disappeared.
Because of concerns about introducing captive parasites, diseases, and alien genes to wild populations, such reintroduction plans are presently mostly out of favor. Those few experiments that DO go on are so carefully controlled and monitored, and so expensive, that ameteurs are not allowed to participate.
Of course, it is HIGHLY illegal to "take maters into your own hands" so to speak.....
