Uni eggs

Sighthunter Apr 22, 2007 08:59 AM

My uni layed her eggs last night at 6pm Kansas time. This is her first clutch. She layesd six eggs. She deposited them on substrate that was 82F. Her eggs look good. She lost blood during her breeding session with my male her neck had one deep laceration which bled quite a bit so I will be curious if the eggs will go full term. On a seperate note the male uni is like a kid in a candy store with his new indoor-outdoor setup. He has been exploring the doggie door in-out-in-out-in-out he likes to bask in the sun. I will be taking temp readings from him and duration when he basks once he settles in. My coachwhip likes to sit inside the tube but comes in at night. He also basks couple hours at a time.......More later.......Bill
