Pump / Filter Setup for Stock Tank

Larry413 Apr 22, 2007 12:09 PM

I'm in the process of building a new home for my A.A. I'm going to be using a 150gal Rubbermaid Stock Tank. Beckett makes a filter & pump kit for around $100. The kit comes with the filter box & media, a 210gph or 325gph pump, and a fountain which I may or may not use. This seems a little easier than building my own filter system.

Looking for any insight or other suggestions on this topic.

Here's a link to the Beckett kit:

Also, what's the best way to heat the stock tank? I'm sure (2) 300watt aquarium heaters would work.
