i have some questions, since this is my first time and i am using a hova bator till i get one from nsreptiles incubator next year. anyway i am using perlite along with 4 qt tub with top on it. the temp will be 82-83 that what i had it set before the eggs were laid. any tips or help of what else i should do? like should i be checking on the eggs while they are incubating? misting every now and then? thanks.

don't mist the eggs directly.
You can moisten the substrate if the eggs start to dry out but when you spray the eggs directly the water can block the microscopic pores in the eggs.

The temps are good

Check the eggs every few days to once a week.
