? about black snakes...

bizkit421 Apr 22, 2007 07:54 PM

anyone have any ideas about how I could encourage a population of black snakes to stay on my property? I have a mouse problem and don't want to put poison out because of mine and the neighbors dogs...

some things that snakes like to hide in/ under: gardens, piles of wood, tarps, rotting wood, pretty much anything with small dark holes for them to hide in.

Also, if you or your neighors have cats, keep them inside as much as possible. If you have feral cats in the area, think about dealing with them.
