one of my balls (bought at a petstore so most likely a wc) has this wierd skin problem. the skin along her spine 4 inches behind her head gets all dry and flakey, like little layers of scales come off, sort of like shedding one scale at a time. and on her head sometimes a whole scale comes of and she gts a scab.

last night she shed and where her skin was flakey she has some white scales. anybody have a clue what it is? ill try for pictures.

My ball python also has this problem and his skin over his whole body has become darker.Could it be related to a respiratory disease?

Do you already know whats the problem with your snake?
