My '05 ball who hadn't eaten since early January ate this weekend! I was so happy!!

I've got one who hasn't eaten since Nov. Though i haven't even attempted to feed her though since she's been breeding. She is about 2 weeks away from laying so she should get her first meal shortly. She's the first ball I ever got in '98, and I bred her for the first time in '05 and she laid 10 perfect eggs. Can't wait to see how many she will give me this year!!

Great news April!

I've got just two snakes: a blood python and a ball. My blood just ate last week for the first time in six weeks. My ball has been off feed since the end of January. I'm hoping for some good vibrations between the two. Maybe my ball will get the itch, too... I'm new to this hunger strike thing, and I'll be glad to have one season of it past me.

This was my first time too. Up until Jan. "she" never missed a meal since I got her in June '05. I don't know the sex for sure but I assume it to be female. I am like you and only have two snakes. Both mine are balls. I have this one that I got in June '05 and another baby that I got Feb '07 for Valentines Day

On another note, I have found a breeder locally who will probe them for me when we can both find time to get together. The best part is it's FREE!! and I think he is going to teach me how too!
