Thanks for the warm welcome Carole. The forum is an excellent resource for a beginner like me. Here is a picture of cooljosh with buffy. She is still as polite as ever and has just eaten her first adult mouse offered by me. I don't know who was more satisfied, me or the python!

Here is one of buffy on her own. She looks remarkably like a poo when she is curled up. Perhaps evolutionary strategy to stop people stepping on blood python juves?

That first picture of you and your python is the CUTEST pic i have seen in a long time! It reminds me of what we were all like when we got our first snake. I think we sometimes get so caught up in the money value of our animals that we forget why we loved them in the first place. Thanks for reminding me

You've got yourself a very beautiful blood python! She/he is a very lucky blood, looks like she found a very loving family! You're going to absolutely LOVE the bloods, they've got the greatest personality! Glad to hear that she is very tame for you! My blood has started to calm down and has turned into an absolute sweetheart!
