Fertile eggs or not? What's the easiest way to tell? NP

1. It is nice and round without dents, and stays that way during its incubation.

2. It's not sticky.

3. If it is taken to a dark room and a small flash light is held against it, it is pink and veiny inside.

The best way to know for sure is if a little gecko pops out after several weeks of incubation. If the egg hasn't collasped on itself, incubate it anyway and see what happens. Some people have produced geckos from eggs they thought were dead.

Fertile eggs feel kind of leathery and you can see a little red embryo inside attached to the top of the egg.
