Where oh where have the people gone...

Mappy Monday!

So, Mosca has been in his hide for going on 3 days, which is extremely uncharacteristic of him. I figured it was due to the unseasonally hot temps we were having, and being a weird lizard I thought maybe he was trying to stay cooler. Anyway, after he still wasn't up and about when I got up this morning, I decided to invoke the "I have worried long enough for your comfort" rule, and picked up his cave to make sure he was still alive, lol.

Of course he was, and giving me the evil eye to boot. However, I think he must have been going through some sort of explosive growth spurt, because he feels and looks a lot heavier. I had a moment's consideration that maybe "he" was really a "she"... and might be building up some infertile eggs... but no palpable lumps, bumps, or anything else unusual. So... I am chalking it up to a growth spurt. Lizards are such unusual creatures.

My week has started out with a cold; one elevator that would go to the floor I needed but would not open the doors on any floor other than lobby; one elevator that would open and close the doors but wouldn't actually leave the main floor; and finally one elevator (the last option) that behaved properly. I hope the rest of you are having better luck!

It is weird to see the chuckwalla forum more active than this one, Uro's are weird creatures but I would probably do the same if I didn't see mine in a couple days. Hope you have better luck with the elevators. 8-)

That brings to mind the great quote from the movie Office Space.
"Sounds like somebody's got a case of the Mondays"

ok kong has gotton ALOT heavier and hasnt come out of his cave in 3 days, also she looks like she has bumps by her stomach. is it possible that she could lay eggs without ever coming in contact with a male?

If he is a she, she could lay infertile eggs.
