i work for a wildlife place, yesterday we got a call from some rv park that there was a bright green dragon in the tree with a stripe down his back, well we all know what that would be!! anyways, i live in columbia south carolina, so it has to be an escaped pet, when i went out there he, or she, was about 70 feet high in a pine tree, and the first 50-60 feet of the tree was limbless. i set up a live trap and put fruit, i.e. banana, watermelon, apple, in the trap and put it in the bushes underneath the tree. today if he, or she, is not trapped then i am going to use this guys equipment who cuts trees to get up the tree and try to snag him, but i got to get him before he dies this winter, someone kills him, or the county takes him and kills him. so i was wondering if anyone here had any suggestions for me on how else to get the green dragon? thanks
kody

first i would inform everyone in the general area that he is just a green ig and wont hurt anyone(he prolly wont breath fire either, but u never know sinces hes a "green dragon" lol) how big is he? if you decide to climb the try you might want to get one of those noose things that dog catchers use. oh and BE CAREFUL. dont fall out of a tree!! good luck

Geez, I have enough trouble getting cats out of a tree, but if you go up after him can you get some kind of net? These guys do jump out of trees in the wild and 70 feet is a LONG drop!! Maybe even fishing net with a few folks holding it on the ground? Good luck!! Stay safe & let us know what happens.

you also might want to try going out on a colder day instead of a warmer one. or go out early in the morning. he will be a little bit slower than he would at the end of the day.
