If you could set up a simple recessive breeding project in one 10 tub rack, with a 60 tub hatchling rack, what would you put in the rack? ONE project only, so one main morph, and one morph to cross into it?

For me, I would set up a male Pastel Het Clown, male Clown, 3 female Het Clowns, female Clown, and a couple of Ghost females...equaling 8. I would then hold back a Ghost and Clown female, to round out the rack.

Thats kinda what I did I have a female pastel that is 66% possible (I fill pretty good about her proving out)and a 100% het female pictured. The het female just ovulated (BIG)from a het male. I am going to wait until next year on the pastel poss if I get a male clown from the het to het I will just wait til he is big enough. That's one of my main goals Pastel Clown. I also breed the het male to some norms to give me some possibles for the future.

you just described one of my dream racks!

Although, if we lived in fantasyland and I could have any combo I wanted... I'd have a het pied pastel male, 3 het pied normal females, and 3 het pied pastel females. I'd round out the rack with a pied superpastel male, and then the prettiest pastel/superpastel pied females. Eventually (fantasyland, remember?) I'd phase out the hets for just a rack straight of pastel/superpastel pieds

or maybe clown pieds...

I would do a albino morph and spider , my other favorite morph is piebald.
