Lets all continue to bash this bill on its merits (e.g. its a bad bill for so many reasons including it is redundant from a LE standpoint and that it is bad for the resource) . . .
However, I think we can also make headway by stressing that the bill was amended without adequate testimony - especially in light of the fact that it is the amended version that we have a problem with. Tell the General Calendar committee that the the Culture, Recreation, and Tourism committee amended the bill after testimony was heard, and that had they taken testimony on the amended bill, that it might not have gotten out of committee.
