Leucistics???

whats with the term Leucistic when it comes to bearded dragons? from what ive researched and been told, Leucistic dragons actually do not exist, they are infact "snow" dragons, and the Leucistic gene hasnt been done in dragons? can someone let me know what the deal is on this topic?

they told me leucistics r hypomelanistic beardies(pastel) without color .

I don't know very much about leucistics but from what i've read, it comes from having lack of cells capable of making pigment. The reason people say there is no such thing is because even "complete leucistic beardies" still have some kind of pigment. Maybe very little but still have something keeping them from looking like a snowball
