I've gone through the list of dealers on this site and I've seen a few good ones. Bob Clark looks good but a bit expensive. I remember this online dealer based in California where I helped a friend get a nice burmese about 5 years ago but for the life of me I can't remember the name of it. They had several nice mutations and the prices weren't that bad either. Any recommendations?

Al Baldogo is top notch in my book, even though I have yet to purchase from him personally I know many who have and all are more than satisfied. But the moment I need anything that Al produces I will be going directly to him, irregardless of price. He is not in this as a business man but because he loves the snakes and the hobby. And to me this makes an enormous difference and it shows in the quality of the animals and customer service.

Have to agree with that.
Bought a couple of retics from him several years ago.
A Jampea and Supertiger. Both came in great health with great temperaments.
And he'll spend time sharing his knowledge with you.

Are you looking purely for a CA breeder? If so what part of CA are you located in?
I can give you some great breeders.

I'm not looking only for CA breeders.. I just remember the place I bought from last time was based out of CA.. I'm interested in anywhere that has quality animals and good service

Well not a lot but those are top on the list.
I personally have purchased several animals from P.P. and from Bob Clark. They are not the cheapest (depending on the snake) but certainly they are top notch. I have also done business twice with Mike Wilbanks and purchased two dwarf (one super dwarf) females from him. Both snake were amazing animals, well priced and in excellent health. Great feeders to.

David at HEH is a pleasure to work with also. You can always check the classifieds on here and peruse the breeders.

Prehistoric Pet's has wonderfull snakes and the prices are great. The het female I got from them 3 years ago is still doing great and her first clutch is great. They will not steer you wrong there. N.E.R.D is also a great place for snakes.
