Frusterated in terms on herping..Ive been road cruisin quite a few times so far and have come up with very little...some garters and waters..a couple mocs and a rats...but thats it and ive been out 10 plus times...what wrong down here,it is suppoed to be prime time right now for it...anyone else having the same problem?maybe its the lack of rain?

And ive been going to good places...national park,loop road,chekkika....

am im doing something wrong?

just wondering if anyone else feels my pain

Where are you located ? Im in Sarasota and I have a couple hotspots for road cruising ...

Of your near Sarasota would you be interested in starting a herp society ?

I have roads I use to hunt regularly and the roadkill has done its damage .. I use to find , Reds , Yellos , Scarlets and Water... Now .. none of the above .. its like they have dissappeared.. but after finding one after another D.O.R the breeding has come to a major slowdown .. Its sad to think that if we actually dont start collecting these herps, they wont survive human overdevelopment ...
