Bummed, Stressed, Happy

run26neys Apr 24, 2007 12:22 PM

I am bummed as the person who was going to ship twoo female spotted pythons to me was sick,so they never got sent. It will probably a couple/few weeks before I can accept a shipment Monday through Thursday, but theplace is more than ahppy to hold them and feed them for me.

Tracking the shipment of my male brb caused me to be stressed. The plane was way late into Chicago (from Memphis), so the package arrived at my local terminal after the trucks were dispatched. FedEx gave an update at 10:35, and I was at the terminal 23 miles away at 11:05 to pick-up.

Happy - the male BRB looks great and was very docile for just being shipped. This male came from none other than Jeff Clark where he was 53M. He will now be Mickey, since he has mickey mouse ear's (multiple) within its pattern. Plus, it is only right for my Minnie to have a Mickey. After I named Minnie I realized mickey mouse ears are fairly common within the paterrn's of BRB's, but feel the name was good anyway.

The first two pic's are of Mickey, and that last one is his girl Minnie.

I'm sorry to hear that you have to wait longer for your pythons... hopefully they will be worth the wait.

As for Mickey... he is a great looking BRB. I was real close to buying that exact one a while ago, but ended up changing my mind. Jeff was real nice about getting me pictures and answering all my questions... and I feel kind of bad that he helped me out so much but I didn't end up buying anything.

I'm glad you got him because now I can watch him grow up in your pictures! Since you live so close, perhaps I may see him in person one day?

Aubrey-

Since we do live so close, Mickey may be able to hook up with one your pretty girls...

When are you expecting to receive your new brb's? Please post pics!

Indeed he could! My new BRB's probably wont get here for a few weeks. Joe doesn't use heat packs, so we have to wait until my temps are higher. I will definetely post pictures when they do come. Man these snakes are addictive!
